The Kindergarten Enrichment Program (KEP) is valuable to the Arrowhead community as an extension of the Kindergarten Day. It is a fee based and self-supporting program that offers enrichment for kindergarten children during the half day that they are not attending kindergarten.  The program governed by the Cherry Creek School District, and by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care.

The objective of the Kindergarten Enrichment Program is to provide a safe and enriching learning experience for Kindergarten aged children. This program provides a full day experience for students. This enables the children to make a smooth transition from Kindergarten to 1st grade.

Kindergarten Enrichment works very closely with the Kindergarten team. Academic support is provided and skills taught in the Arrowhead Kindergarten are reinforced. Children enjoy a full day of school while socializing with other classroom friends. The program provides numerous opportunities for many hands-on experiences such as reading, stories, games, art, music, cooking and science.

Students may attend the Before and After School Program (BAS) in conjunction with the Kindergarten Enrichment Program. There is an additional charge for attendance in the Before and After School Program.

Enrollment in KEP
All children must be fully enrolled before attending the KEP program. To enroll in the KEP program, parents must complete and sign the KEP enrollment packet and pay a $270 registration fee. Tuition is $270 per month and due the last day of the month. The KEP enrollment packets are available in the BAS office located in the cafeteria. Make checks payable to Cherry Creek ECS. Payment must be made by check or money order. Cash is not accepted. Financial assistance is available for families that qualify.
