INFORMATION ON THE ARROWHEAD PASS TEAM
The Arrowhead PASS Team is a strong parent leadership group dedicated to closing the achievement gap for our African-American and Hispanic/Latino, Native American and Multi-Racial students.
PASS stands for Partnership for Academically Successful Students. PASS is devoted to closing the achievement gap for our students of color.
Through this 2013-2014 school year, our Arrowhead PASS Team will be continuing our focus on our TCAP data from Fall 2012 and Spring 2013  This data shows us that we continue to struggle with narrowing the achievement gap for our African American and Hispanic/Latino, Multi-racial students in the TCAP testing areas of reading, writing, math and science.  Although we show progress in some years, we have difficulty maintaining that progress across years and across tests for our students of color. If you would like to know more about the achievement gap in Colorado, please check the Colorado Department of Education website at www.cde.state.co.us and go to School View.
Thank you!
The Arrowhead PASS Team
